Born in Guernsey, Julie was educated at the Guernsey Grammar School for Girls. After completing an accountancy foundation course at Portsmouth Polytechnic, she joined Moore Stephens in 1983. Initially working in audit, she moved into trust and company administration after qualifying as a chartered accountant.
She is a Director of the firm’s trustee, nominee and secretarial companies.
She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She is also a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.
She is Treasurer of the Guernsey Association for Mental Health (Guernsey Mind). Her interests include the arts and travelling.
